A dual-wavelength continuous-wave (CW) diode end-pumped gadolinium scandium aluminum garnet (Nd:GSAG) laser that generates
simultaneous laser action at the wavelengths 1061 and 942 nm is demonstrated. A total output power of 589 mW (476 mW at 1061
nm and 113 mW at 942 nm) for the dual-wave-length was achieved at the incident pump power of 18.2 W. The M

1341 nm Nd:GdVO4 laser and 1080 nm Nd:YAlO3 (Nd:YAP) laser. Orange laser is obtained by using a doubly cavity, type-II critical phase matching KTP crystal sum-frequency

We report a diode-pumped Pr3+:YAlO3 laser emitting at 747 nm. A power of 232 mW at 747 nm has been achieved in continuous-wave operation with a diode emitting
2 W at 448 nm. Furthermore, intracavity second-harmonic generation in continuous-wave mode has also been demonstrated with
a power of 52 mW at 374 nm by using a LBO nonlinear crystal. The fluctuation of the violet output power was better than 2.3%.

In this work, we use nonlinear spectral imaging based on two-photon excited fluorescence (TPEF) and second harmonic generation
(SHG) for analyzing the morphology of collagen and elastin and their biochemical variations in basal cell carcinoma (BCC),
squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and normal skin tissue. It was found in this work that there existed apparent differences among
BCC, SCC and normal skin in terms of their thickness of the keratin and epithelial layers, their size of elastic fibers, as
well as their distribution and spectral characteristics of collagen. These differences can potentially be used to distinguish

We report on a passively mode-locked Nd:YVO4 laser using a novel graphene oxide saturable absorber fabricated by vertical evaporation method. An 880 nm LD pump source
was used to reduce the thermal load of the laser crystal. At the pump power of 7.4 W, 1.2 W average output power of continuous
wave mode-locked laser with optical conversion efficiency of 16.2% was achieved. To the best of our knowledge, this is the
highest output power of passively mode-locked solid-state laser using graphene oxide saturable absorber. The repetition rate

We describe the output performances of the 1048 nm transition in Yb:YAG under in-band pumping with diode laser at the 968 nm wavelength. An end-pumped Yb:YAG crystal yielded 787 mW of continuous-wave (CW) output power for 9.1 W of absorbed pump power. Furthermore, 104 mW 524 nm green light was acquired by frequency doubling. A diode-side-pumped continuous-wave Nd:GGG laser operating at dual-wavelength (1110 and 1105 nm) and single wavelength of 1110 nm is demonstrated for the first time. The maximum output power of the 1110 and 1105 nm dual-wavelength operation is 13.2 W. By adjusting the orientation of an insertion mirror, the relative intensities of the two wavelengths can be changed.
